John was a Skype for Business MVP (2015-2018) - before that, a Lync Server MVP (2010-2014). I have a variety of certifications dating back to Novell CNE and working up through the Microsoft MCP stack to MCITP multiple times. FWIW, I am on my third career - ex-USMC, retired US Army. Lync 2013 using DFS

 

It is well documented that you can have a Lync file share on a DFS share.  You can read about that right here.  But what is missing in that documentation is the syntax for creating the file store in the Lync Topology Builder.  As many times as I have done this task, I always forget.  Then I have to work my way through it and figure out the syntax.  And the documentation does not help when it comes to the Lync. Well, no more.
